Our granite countertops start out with the best cuts of stone. You can choose from more than 150 colors, making our selection one of the biggest in North America. Each block is cut into slabs of different thicknesses. Countertops are usually made from 20mm and 30mm thick slabs. Starting from our pristine slabs, we carefully measure and cut the piece to suit our clients’ needs. We can do seamless countertops for smaller projects, but for larger countertops, some seams may be necessary. After cutting the granite countertop, we then carve the edge into a bullnose, bevel, pencil, ogee, dupont, etc., depending on the client’s demand. When the piece is done, we seal the granite countertop with a sealer to prevent stains and scratches. While the seal makes it easier to maintain and improves the granite countertop’s overall durability, it also adds shine and luster. Each granite countertop should be re-sealed every 3 years to prevent damage and maintain its beauty.
